School in Rural India: Case Study

A village school,in the foothills of the Himalayas, India, serves approximately 60 children in the age group five to sixteen. Choice Solar took an initiative and designed and led the installation of a solar powered battery backed electric system that enabled the children not only an opportunity to study under bright lights, but even learn computer skills. Through this mechanism, the teachers and the children have expanded their knowledge and understanding of clean energy and harnessing the power of natural resources.
